What Should I Wear to My Photoshoot Session?

Well… in theory you can wear anything you want to wear. You are free to express yourself as you usually would in your day to day life. But I’m aware that some people are looking for that certain image and the clothes you wear can and will heavily influence the outcome of your photo’s style. From color to fabric to patterns and to shape & cut of the clothes, it will all determine the end result of an image and sometimes wearing the wrong things can cause what I would call expectations vs. reality.

For example, let’s say you are going for a strong, bold editorial look but choose to wear a neon flowy dress. The reality will drastically differ from the original end goal of a magazine editorial look AKA the expectation.

So, in order for us to establish what you should wear, we should first establish what photoshoot style you are going for.
